On this World NGO Day, we at the Rex Mafiana Foundation (RMF) are celebrating the power of grassroots movements and honoring the incredible work of NGOs worldwide.
As we reflect on our ongoing efforts, we also acknowledge the unsung heroes tirelessly working to create positive, sustainable change in their communities. Today, we are highlighting the critical role of local organizations, like ours, in addressing pressing global challenges.

RMF Vision
The Rex Mafiana Foundation was established with the mission of reducing inequality by providing quality education to young Nigerians who are facing challenges beyond their control. As we continue through 2025, we remain dedicated to transforming the lives of Nigerian youth, empowering them to break free from poverty and inequality. Our initiatives align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) specifically SDG 1: No Poverty, SDG 4: Quality Education, and SDG 10: Reduced Inequality.
Education is proving to be a powerful tool for creating lasting change, and in 2025, we are dedicating ourselves to empowering individuals, families, and communities to create a more equitable society.
A Look to the Future
Looking ahead, RMF is focusing on two key initiatives that will significantly broaden our reach and deepen our impact:
- Expanding Scholarships and Mentorship: Launching new scholarship cycles and strengthening mentorship programs to empower Nigerian youth with academic, career, and life skills.
- Community Engagement & Partnerships: Deepening collaborations with organizations to reach underserved communities and support sustainable development through events .
